With a whole year behind you, and another facing you, it’s hard not to be reflective on the first day of 2017.
Well, 2016 was a rollercoaster of a year, filled with ecstatic highs and heartbreaking lows. This was the year that I travelled more than ever, went on more adventures, said yes, and grew so much. It was also the year that I lost my wonderful nan and asked myself tough questions about what I really want.
It’s impossible to list all the things that happened, but blogging is such a good way of looking back and seeing what I got up to, and it makes me keen to commit more of my time to blogging in the coming year. As always, I have tons of ideas – I just need to get better at finding spare hours to dedicate to it.
Here are a few of my highlights:
With all the events in 2016, it has been easy to think things are awful at times, but now more than ever I know how important it is to recognise the people I’m grateful for. I’m not really one to use the word blessed, but it seems fitting when I think of my family and friends. They’re truly what make me one of the luckiest people, and I’m thankful for them every single day.
Wishing you all a wonderful, lucky, hopeful 2017!
